Anthony Ferraro came up in the Silver Lake blocks of Belleville, and after years running crews for a national van line based around the Newark and Port district, he launched Safe Movers. His aim was plain: give North Jersey families one honest flat price and a crew that treats a two-family or a Manhattan high-rise as if it were their own, whatever the weather throws down.
Who Runs The Office
For nine years Denise Alvarez has run our front desk — booking crews, drafting the written flat quotes, and pulling together the COIs that Manhattan towers demand. Handling dispatch, Carla Nunes keeps the daily truck board in motion while tracking every nor’easter headed for the county.
Chiefs Leading Each Crew
On the specialty side, Rob Mancini takes the pianos, gun safes, and the heaviest pieces. The long hauls down the Turnpike and I-95 belong to Marcus Silva, while Danny Ortiz runs the walk-up, high-rise, and full-pack days.
Licensed, Bonded, Insured
Behind Safe Movers sits a New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs household-goods mover license alongside our own interstate US DOT and MC authority. No subcontractor ever works your job — the trucks parked at your curb and the movers carrying your boxes all draw our paycheck.
